Preparing for a wedding, is work. There are so many things that need to be done before your big day. The most important item of any wedding is the Wedding License. This page was designed to help you understand and prepare for obtaining your Wedding License. This page is based directly off the Indiana State Web Site. Please note this is only a guide and not a legal website site any all questions should be directed to the Clerk’s Office in the county you want to be married in or the Indiana State Web Site.
To be legally married in the State of Indiana, you must have a Marriage License. To apply for your Marriage License there are a few things that you must do. Below is a guide that will assist you in this process, remember you and your partner must both appear in person at the Clerk’s Office in the county you want to be married in to receive your license.
